About Us
Our Story
For over 24 years Bridge of Life Ministries has been a source of support for strengthening the Kingdom of God through training and equipping individuals to do the work of the ministry. Founders Christopher & Jacqueline Houston established the ministry in 2021. Since the ministry's inception, they have worked together as church planters, speakers, conference & retreat hosts, authors and advocates for change/transition. Skilled in building community strengthening families, and educating the body, they are dedicated to reaching, reconciling, and restoring others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the message of unconditional love.

Leadership Training Course
Deigned to assist the local church in training and strengthening their Leadership, the BOLM_LDR_TRNG_101 doesn't disappoint. This course focuses on equipping church leadership teams with the tools in understanding the keys to empowering and mobilizing individuals and community for maximum impact. Customization and integration of the Pastor or designee ensures the training remains true to each churche's values and culture. Topics include: Ministry of the Saints, Qualities of a leader, spiritual gifts, personalities, disciplines, working with others, organizational structure, and much more.
Ministerial Licensure / Ordination Training
Designed for 1st Year Licensure/Ordination candidates who have already completed BOLM_LDR_TRNG_101. This course comes alongside the local church to offer a structured yet practical ministry development program for Pastors who do not have a qualification process in place for a first year licensure/ordination prospects. Programing include: Introduction to various ministry tools and resources, understanding of the ministerial development path, theological training that include exposure to traditional seminary subject matter (without the cost of attending seminary), and much more. Customization and integration of the Pastor or designated church leadership keep the training true to each churches values and culture. Topics include: Old/New Testament Survey, Church History, Greek/Hebrew Languages, Basic Christian Doctrine , Missions, World Religion, and much more.
Ordination Practicum
Designed for 2nd Year Ordination candidates who have already completed BOLM_LDR_TRNG_101 & BOLM_MIN_LDR_TRNG_101. This course comes alongside the local church to offer a structured yet practical ministry development program for Pastors who do not have a formal process in place for a second year of ordination qualification. Programing include: Continuing ed, group supervision, and practical ministry assessments and much more.
Customized 5-Fold Ministry / Team Development
Designed to assist local church leadership in assessing, strategizing, developing, and strengthening their team of Leaders.
